You should have heard about this by now, but this Friday and Saturday there’s two nights of party action going on down at Start the Bus on Corn Street, Bristol’s answer-in-a-venue to Shoreditch.
It’s called Bun Fight!, and it’s a fundraiser for the Bristol Festival the next weekend (an event who’s live painting line up is now positively eye wateringly good, more later), and amongst other highlights has the Invisible Circus, who are both excellent and currently otherwise ‘securing’ the Bridewell Police Station site where the 12 Days of Xmas show happened last, well, Xmas, as well as the anagramatic Kid Carpet on Saturday night.
Of more relevance for this blog though, the unstoppable Weapon of Choice lot will be down there for some live painting antics on both nights, Friday featuring Cheba, Lokey, Nikill, Soker and a surprise special guest (they’ve yet to issue a formal public statement that it’s not Banksy you know…), whilst Saturday is yet to be announced, but looks like being the KTF lot, definitely Mr Riks plus most likely many others.
Top stuff then, and for a top cause, all at a not untop venue. Speaking of which, it’s a Venue sort of event as well, so check that for the full details.
