There’s a fundraising night on tonight for the People’s Republic of Stokes Croft project, down at (the new) Jesters on Cheltenham Road.

May the 8th is going to see some new work going up in the gallery. Complete line up still being finalised, but confirmed so far is new stuff from Cheba, Sepr, Deadgirl, Cheo, SPZER076, Lokey [...]
Meant to blog this road a while back, but the light wasn’t great for photos. Still isn’t in a way (roll on summer) but glad i didn’t, as the quality of the art there has got even better since.

Here’s Sydenham Road which runs off the lower end of Ninetree Hill / Stokes Croft, a road with some good stuff on it, some of it seemingly an extension of the PRSC work, other bits much older.

Remember a week or two ago, some of the work down on Stokes Croft was ineptly painted over, possibly by the council, possibly not. Well, in double quick time, some new work has gone up to replace it, and it’s not bad at all.
