The new show at Guerilla Galleries opens tomorrow night (28th), but this blog, somewhat pleasingly, has been given a sneak preview of what’s going to be there on the opening to share with you all.

Just had word there’s another show coming up at Guerilla Galleries on the Gloucester Road later this month, imaginatively titled ‘The New Show’. In the spirit of traditional lazy journalism, mixed with honesty, i’ll just leave it to their media release to tell you about it.

So, finally got myself along to the Weapons of Choice night tonight, after last months ridiculous gale, and it was awesome. Mr Wolf’s is a surprisingly small venue for it, and the art crowd, both successful and ‘aspiring’ were definitely out in force for it, but Inkie and Mr Jago didn’t let us down.

Just a reminder for you all, the second Weapons of Choice live painting night featuring Inkie and Mr Jago is tonight down at Mr Wolfs. Be there, it’ll be ace!
Following the success of the first event, there’s another Weapons of Choice night coming up at Mr Wolf’s on the 12th of Feb. This time the artists going head to head are Mr Jago and Inkie. Nurse, the screens!
So tonight was the Graffle draw night, and they’d certainly done well in the final choice of venue! Posh as you like, and a window outside had pleasingly been expertly decorated by Mr Jago. My camera did two shots of this, not sure which is better to be honest, so here’s the flash and non [...]
Seems like only yesterday this was all starting off, but this coming friday will see the final draw of ‘Graffle’, Bristol’s graffiti raffle.
The lineup of art being raffled was impressive enough when this thing started, but since then it’s just grown and grown. The addition of a studio proof of Banksy’s ‘Stop and Search’ print [...]
So it seems the blog was getting loads of traffic yesterday from people looking for pics of what’s available at Graffle.
As it happened, i was going back to the 12 days show tonight anyway, so took the opportunity to grab pics of what’s there at the moment.

For the last few weeks there’s been an online auction running for various pieces of street and contemporary art. Called ‘Evolving Styles‘, the process started with some live painting in trendy Shoreditch by artists including Mr Jago and Nick Walker. All proceeds were going to the ‘SOS Children‘ charity, another worthy cause.

There’s a whole lot of charity around at christmas, and none better at the moment than ‘Graffle‘, a project selling raffle tickets for art to raise money for Bristol children’s charities.
