Another of the Banksys on St Michaels Hill, were quite a few of them round here at the time. This one was on where the chimney stack is sticking out in the shot below, pretty much where the white paint has painted out some more graf recently by the looks of it.

Interesting image this one, the grabbing hooks appeared in other Banksy pieces at the time, sometimes combined with the helicopter stencils he used to do too. This wasn’t the only one of these done, another one’s in the ‘Banksy’s Bristol – Home Sweet Home’ book that came out a while back.

First saw this one out the back of the Thekla (infamous VIP room) in about 99ish. I remember thinking it was very apt due to the DJ on the night being pretty wack…
