So, this blog’s at Glastonbury Festival now, for various reasons. Hoping to get some blogging in from the site (Pairs and Mudwig are painting there, Xenz has a work there too), but that kinda thing can never be a promise.
But, for those of you around this coming weekend, there’s something equally cool, if not cooler really, Glostonbury,
It’s a Glastonbury replacement style event kinda thing, for those as can’t be bothered with the mud and the hassle, not to mention the cost. It’s going to be up by the Golden Lion on Gloucester Road (see what they did with the name there), and, well, it’s four days of bands and some seriously good live painting.
There’s details on the flyer above, but here’s the web blurb for it.
In the evenings we have live music from:
Thursday night: Eddie Martin – free entry
Friday night: Scubaroots – £3 entry
Saturday night: Kuwarto, Hmna Hmna, and Ruckus Collective – £3 entry
Sunday night: The Hats, and The Zen Hussies – £3 entry
On Saturday and Sunday we are closing the road along side the pub to host some live Exhibition skateboarding during the day (mini-ramp, 2 quarter pipes, and a long block), Bristol’s finest skaters from 50:50, DC, and beyond.
We’re sticking a DJ booth up on the roof to keep the party rolling. DJ’s include: Worth a Mil crew, Cheeba, Ewan Hoozami, Skint, Mr Rectomy, Rogue, Ben One & Awkward.
We are also going to have live graffiti all down the street from some of Bristol’s finest – including: Mr Jago, China Mike, Andy Council, Rich T, Cheo, Hine, Lokey, and Felix
Expect a big BBQ, clothing stalls, face painting, and much much more!!!!
The flyer above puts Dicy in the mix with this one as well, but either way, this is a pretty top line up of artists however you look at it.
Go there and have fun, take photos too please!

Will there be any free spray area’s for the rest of the up and coming to decorate?
So are we to assume Dicy will be making an appearance even tho his name has been omitted from the blurb!? It’s pretty much right next to me house so it’d be pretty darn rude not to check it out i think! Surprised Cheba aint getting involved, seems right up his cul-de-sac this does
