Nick Walker show tonight

So, just back from the Nick Walker show at Black Rat Press. It was wicked, the art was all kinds of good, and got some awesome photos to share with you all. But you may have to wait a short while, as it’s stupidly late, and a school night.
Will get the night blogged as soon [...]

Nick Walker show approaches - check the projections!

So, with talk of the queues that will be forming for the print release at the Nick Walker show tomorrow, i thought i might get down there early and do a live blog from the queue. May not do that now, as apparently the queue is already 36 people strong, just under 24 hours beforehand. [...]

Opposite Paintworks - an update

So, got down to check out the new piece down opposite Paintworks the other day, and didn’t find all i’d expected to. But seems work’s been continuing since then, and Graham Paris has been good enough to send over some snaps of a second installment of work on that massive wall.
First off, here’s a better [...]

Xynthetic Show at Workshop

Told you there was backlog of content right now…
This actually happened a week ago last friday, on the 4th of April, but the photos from the night weren’t quite all they could have been, so nipped back to get some more.
The event was the launch of show three of the Carbon and Chemicals national tour [...]

Commentary on the new Bath Buildings development

Said on Monday that there was something else to share with you all about the redevelopment of the Stokes Croft/Cheltenham Road area.
As people round there will know, and as covered here before, there’s a large new development going on by Bath Buildings, featuring eco homes, etc. Ghostboy’s already had his say on what he thinks [...]

Paris, Milk, Glastonbury and a call for info

Someone emailed this blog yesterday asking if anyone knew what, if any, graf was going to be at Glastonbury Festival this year, and set in chain a whole series of cool events. More of the results later in the week, but in the meantime here’s an appeal for info.
Do you go to festivals over the [...]

April’s new Jamaica Street Boards

It’s quite nice this isn’t it, the PRSC work on Jamaica Street is developing into quite a regular little feature.
Been redone again, presumably this weekend, and for an excellent cause (one that should have been blogged last week too annoyingly). There’s a real movement going on at the moment to save Stokes Croft. Not from [...]

Nick Walker, another show, London

Old news this really, but not blogged here yet for various reasons, in part due to Mr Walker suddenly blowing up huge, and the stuff i thought i’d get to report consequently not coming together.
So, anyway, for those who don’t follow these things, there’s another Nick Walker show this Thursday, at Black Rat Press in [...]

Abbotsford Road, Bristol

Found this this weekend on Abbotsford Road in Cotham, and immediately thought of all the discussion in the comments before now on whether stencils of any quality are worth covering or not. Guessing whoever did this intends to add to the debate on the matter.

Phone up your mum, Cromwell Road

Found this down the end of Cromwell Road the other week, presumably from the same stable as ‘All the girls love you‘. Amusing thing is its placement, just across the road from the entrance to a student hall of residence.
Wonder if it’s ever inspired anyone to do so?
