Chandos Road, Redland

Walked past these the other day on Chandos Road, have walked past them before, they were on the hoarding for a shop being renovated. Nice though, very Redland, but sadly now gone, as they were being stacked up to be taken away, the work being done.
Should have asked for them really…

Comedy ebay item

A mate of mine pointed this out the other day, an auction for a kids Ladybird book on ebay that had been altered to put a slightly different spin on policing. Apparently it was;
Cheekily left in the sale box of a local library. There’s some strange scribblings present too…
Here are a couple of pages [...]

Ozzy Mandust on Gloucester Road

Not someone i know a lot about, Ozzy Mandust, though think he’s a reader of this blog (*waves*), but found this little piece on the back of the large bottoms up at the (arches) end of Gloucester Road the other day.
Pretty tagged wall, not that well painted over either

On the right, everybody’s favourite celebrity crackhead, [...]

Weapon of Choice review

So, another Weapon of Choice tonight down at Mr Wolf’s, and fully reckon it was the best yet. Everyone was there, loads of live acts and MC’s alongside the usual hip hop playing, really felt like the graf and the music came together properly, just as it should be in Bristol, awesome.

Seza in Workshop

It’s been up a while this, but then it’s been a while since i’ve been to Workshop. Not a huge exhibition by previous standards, but some really sweet little canvasses by Seza of the TCF, each with its own letter.
A long shot of the main group of them

Three pretty special ones, two red dotted already…

Really [...]

Freshness on Johnny Ball Lane

Covered Johnny Ball Lane here round Christmas time, but came across this new piece a couple of days or so ago, and it kinda warrants its own post really.
It’s a massive new piece on the side of a previously blank wall, blank for a long time i think, up the top opposite the hospital. It [...]

Some 3Dom bits…

This is definitely a blog, and a non profit venture, but have heard that 3Dom’s got a couple of pieces he’s looking to sell at the moment, and since i cover work for sale when it’s in a gallery, don’t see why i shouldn’t help out a self representing dood one time.
So, here they are, [...]

Richmond Road, Montpelier

Meant to blog this road a while back, but the light wasn’t great for photos. Still isn’t in a way (roll on summer) but glad i didn’t, as the quality of the art there has got even better since.
Starting from the bottom of the road…
A garage door, with this odd and i think old stencil [...]
